January Update!

Hi Everyone! Hope you all had a wonderful Holiday and a very Happy New Year!

I thought things might slow down here as we headed into Winter, but I was very very wrong. We may have moved a lot of our operations inside, but we continue to move non-stop on our remodel here at Haymoon Resort! Our North Star Cabin turned out absolutely beautiful and has seen several groups of the most wonderful guests over the past few weeks. It has been so fun reading all of your notes in our guest book and on our chalk board. We are thrilled that you all have loved the place as much as we do. Knowing that people are having the most amazing time with their friends and families makes all the hard work we continue to put into the place well worth it.

Our Deer Moon and Merry Moon apartments or guest quarters as you may call them, are completely gutted and awaiting new plumbing this week. We basically have a clean slate to work with in these two spaces, so we are having fun designing them and know you all are going to love what we have come up with! In addition, we are working to make the Merry Moon apartment wheel chair accessible, with a beautiful, large, ADA compliant bathroom. We can’t wait to be able to accomodate everyone here at Haymoon Resort!

The other parts of the Merry Moon and Deer Moon building will include a rustic bar area, which I’m currently referring to as the multi-purpose room, as it will be a great setting for small meetings, presentations, cocktail hour, and other small receptions (or whatever else you come up with!), as the double doors can open up to our soon to be well landscaped court yard. Everyone here is very excited about the bar area and this space, so stay tuned for updates and pictures as it all comes together, it’s going to be really neat!

The other part of this building is the laundry room, a space most of you will never see, but it will probably end upbeing the most important room on the property because it will ensure that you all have fresh, clean linens. It will be the home base of our cleaning operations, making sure all the cabins are fresh and clean and ready for your arrival!

I will post pictures of the Merry Moon and Deer Moon apartments as they are completed (check our Facebook and Instagram for updates)! They will be available for rent starting in May 2019, so I would book now as I’m sure they will book fast once they are completed. The North Star Cabin is already booking for Summer and is filling up fast so get your dates booked now if you are trying to visit us in the prime Summer months. We still have availability this Winter too, and we know you will find the North Star Cabin cozy after a day on the slopes, backcountry, or whatever Winter activity you choose…there are so many!
